I'm Kylie - A Mum of two from Perth, Western Australia and as my report card said year after year at school, I'm a social butterfly. I love a chat, whether it be on the phone, over coffee, via email or private message.

A fun fact about me - I've lived in Japan can speak Japanese, but I don't like sushi. I'm a very firm believer that pineapple does not have a place on pizza (my favourite food), nor does a pickle belong in a cheeseburger!

Prior to having my two littlies, I worked in commercial sales and marketing within the hospitality sector. After this time (and a global pandemic) I realised an interest to explore product development and the online retail space.

Why Animal Me? I've always been a lover of animal prints and the name Animal Me was originally destined for another product which is still living rent free in my brain for now. It was after having my daughter that I fell into a gap in the market of affordable sparkling sequin headbands with bear / mouse ears...and the rest as they say, is history. Likewise with our Christmas reversible plushies of which I had created for my two minions, they resemble another animal, an octopus!

It is true what they say, "when you buy from a small business an actual person does a happy dance". However in our house, both kiddies sing "Mummy, you got a saaaallleee" - it really is a family affair. All of your sparkling orders are packed with care and gratitude from our dining table. It is because of you that I am able to continue my passion whilst being at home to watch my littlies grow.
